Hi, I’m Sadia Labonno—a proud mother originally from Gazipur, Bangladesh, now living in Chittagong. Today, I work from my home studio, delivering high-impact video edits to creators, brands, and clients all over the world.
But my journey wasn't always this clear.
The Unseen Pressure & The Turning Point
After graduating with my university degree, I expected my career to launch immediately. Instead, life took a different turn. I got married, moved, and soon welcomed a beautiful baby into the world. Being a mother gave my life a whole new purpose and filled my heart with an unimaginable kind of love—my child truly gave my life meaning.
However, behind the joy of motherhood, a subtle pressure began to build.
“You graduated, but you're just sitting at home completely dependent on your husband?”
Comments like these, whether unspoken or whispered by society, weighed heavily on me. I didn’t want to choose between being present for my child and having my own identity. I wanted both: to cherish every moment of motherhood while building my own financial independence.
Starting from Zero: The CapCut Era
Six months ago, I knew absolutely nothing about video editing. When I first saw advanced editing programs and courses, I didn't even have the courage to join them. It felt overwhelming.
Instead of giving up, I started small:
- Self-Teaching: I spent late nights watching YouTube tutorials while my baby slept.
- First Steps: I completed a basic CapCut course to master the fundamentals of fast, engaging cuts and visual pacing.
Equipped with just my dedication and basic tools, I put my services out into the world.
